Fundraiser-Shopping Cards Program

Dear Parents / Guardians,

We are excited to introduce a new, on-going fundraising program called the “Shopping Cards” Program. Our parent association can purchase shopping cards from large, well known retailers at a 5% discount.  The PAC resells the certificates and cards to you at face value and the PAC keeps the difference as a fundraiser.

Some of the participating retailers are: MarketPlace IGA, T & T, Fairway Market, Capers, Stong’s, Killarney Market, WestJet, The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters, Sears, Home Depot, Home Hardware, Chevron, Petro-Canada, Canadian Tire, Chapters, Future Shop, Shoppers Drug Mart, Starbucks, Staples, Sport Mart, The Gap, Old Navy, Winners, Marks WW, Payless SS, Linens-N-Things, Toys ‘R’ Us, Blockbuster, Cineplex Odeon, M&M Meat Shops, Domino’s, Earls, White Spot, Milestone’s, Swiss Chalet, The Keg, Cactus Club, Moxies, Red Robin, The Boathouse, The Old Spaghetti Factory and many more.

How the Program Works:

  1. First Monday of the month, your child will bring home an order form.
  2. Determine which certificates and cards you would like to purchase in what denominations.
  3. Return the completed order form in an envelope with a cheque by first Friday of the month.
  4. Pick up your shopping cards from the PAC desk in the main hall on the second Friday.

The average family spends $6,000 - $7,000 on groceries each year.  If 100 families purchase 4 - $100 gift cards per month, our PAC can earn $14,000 this school year.

$     2,800                                    per family for one school year
x      100                                    number of participating families
