About Maple Grove PAC

Parent Advisory Council

"Every child’s journey and destination are unique. Public education gives all students the learning experiences they’ll need to build pathways to a bright future. Because when young minds are inspired, there are no limits to what can be achieved."

The purpose of the PAC is to support, encourage and improve the quality of education and the well being of students in Maple Grove School.

1. To advise the principal and staff on parents' view on any matter relating to the school - programs, policies, plans and activities.
2. To communicate with parents and to promote cooperation between the home and school in providing for the education of children.
3. To assist parents in accessing the system and to provide advocacy support for individual children and their parents.
4. To organize PAC activities and events.
5. To contribute to the effectiveness of the school by promoting the involvement of parents and other community members.

Maple Grove School has a long tradition of strong and supportive PAC groups.  Currently our PAC operates the following committees:

  • Hot Lunch
  • Safe Arrival
  • Parent Education
  • Hospitality
  • Volunteer Coordinating
  • Special Events

The PAC is a strong supporter of the school and its teachers.  While the PAC does raise funds for the school, it is also a group that takes a lead role in arranging celebrations to highlight the successes at our school.  PAC demonstrates that ours is a community that cares deeply, shares generously and helps willingly.

Our Purpose is Student Success!

Currently the PAC meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
